Is uranium glass radioactive?
Yes, technically uranium glass is radioactive, however, the radiation is extremely minimal. Most pieces of uranium glass jewelry will have no measurable radiation above background levels.

Uranium glass brooch with a very small radiation reading. Above 50cpm is considered a positive reading. For comparison, a Fiestaware bowl that uses uranium glaze can read up to 7,000cpm and the radium paint on the hands of an antique clock can measure up to 150,000cpm. I have measured countless pieces of uranium glass jewelry and beads and I have never gotten a reading above 300cpm.
